Overview
Focusing on the cultivation of academic ability, taking the occupation demand as the guidance, and promoting the combination of production and learning as the way, the compound high-level talents with certain innovation ability are trained to engage in research, design, development and management. It emphasizes the research-oriented practice and serves the needs of economic and social development (related industries, industries, etc.), while taking into account the requirements of professional quality.
Admission Requirements
Admission will be granted by the admission board taking into account application files of students, academic background, motivation, language skills, and if applicable, professional experience. One of the basic entry requirements for the program is a master’s degreein a relevant subject and a thorough knowledge of English.
Since the courses are taught in English, all applicants must be able to read, follow lectures and express their thoughts in fluent written and spoken English. Applicants whose native language is not English need to provide score report of English language proficiency test (a score above IELTS 6.0 or TOEFL Internet-based 80 or equivalent), or a certificate from former university that the previous degree is taught in English, or a certificate indicating the applicants have studied in an English-speaking country for more than one year.
Meanwhile, on completion of the program, the graduates are expected to have the following knowledge and specialized skills:
◆With a high sense of social responsibility, good professional ethics and entrepreneurship, scientific and rigorous and pragmatic learning attitude and work style, physical and mental health.
◆Master the professional basic theory, in-depth professional knowledge and management knowledge, and advanced technical methods as well as modern technical means to solve engineering problems;
◆Strong engineering practice ability, with the ability to solve complex engineering technology and engineering management problems of electronic information engineering specialty.

Credit Requirements
The total credit required for Doctors is no less than 39 credits, among which the Common Compulsory Courses entail at least 5 credits and Professional Compulsory Courses entail at least 4 credits. Degree thesis entail 25 credits.
Award of Degree
You are required to complete prescribed courses and credits, pass the examination and thesis defending and apply for the degree. After the evaluation and approval of the degree assessment committee, the doctoral degree of Computer Science and Technology can be awarded.
